We are seeking a results-driven professional to assume leadership responsibilities for our Property and Casualty sector planning and reporting activities.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  1. To lead the development of divisional plans, monitor progress, and guide reporting activities for the Property and Casualty sector.
  2. Sector Planning:
  1. Ensure that Property and Casualty sector plans align with the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, requirements, and historical data from Property and Casualty divisions.
  3. Establish clear objectives, targets, and deadlines for the Property and Casualty sector to drive achievement.
  4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to cascade sector plans and objectives, and establish relevant KPIs to measure success.
  5. Integrate customer-centric approaches into sector strategies and foster collaboration among internal Property and Casualty teams.
  6. Provide critical support for developing functional plans, enabling the attainment of established objectives.
  7. Nurture strong relationships with Property and Casualty divisions, facilitating effective collaboration and communication.
  8. Partner with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to develop project plans aligned with overall business objectives.
  9. Create and execute annual plans, setting clear budgets, objectives, and initiatives.
  10. Effectively manage resources to achieve operational goals.
  11. Conduct research and benchmark analysis to stay informed about best practices, trends, and market positioning.
  12. Monitor and assess the implementation of sector strategies, identifying areas for improvement.
Sector Reporting:
  1. Monitor Property and Casualty performance against established plans and milestones to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  2. Develop strategic reports highlighting sector achievements, functional plans, and key performance indicators.
  3. Analyze function metrics and key performance indicators to address challenges and underperformance.
  4. Lead the analysis and interpretation of financial data, guiding the development of financial reports with internal stakeholders.
  5. Formulate recommendations to improve future operations based on identified issues and challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Policies, Procedures, and Processes:
  1. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
  2. Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and processes, and escalating any discrepancies.
Management Role:
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent by acquiring and selecting new staff members, integrating new joiners, and providing ongoing training and coaching.
  • Establish clear objectives, expectations, and performance goals for team members, regularly reviewing progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Enhance individual and team performance by identifying skill gaps and recommending training programs, evaluating their effectiveness on job performance.
  • Implement workforce management strategies to optimize staffing levels, adjust working hours, and facilitate flexible work arrangements.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment promoting employee engagement and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a senior management role.
