**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our team at Manara Gulf Overseas Employment. As a key member of our technical office, you will play a crucial role in implementing policies and procedures, reviewing project documents, and coordinating with consultants and sub-contractors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical office policies and procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Study project contract documents, including time schedules, project design drawings, and BOQs, to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Update shop drawing logs and coordinate with consultants for approvals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project documents.
  • Prepare and submit requests for information (RFIs) to resolve technical matters that may arise during construction, working closely with project consultants and sub-contractors.
  • Review and coordinate the approval process for sub-contractors' shop drawings and outsourced shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Surveying Engineer to provide land coordinates and site measurement information, supporting the project's technical and logistical needs.
  • Participate in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during construction, working closely with the Technical Office Manager to find solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver as-built drawings at the end of the project, ensuring accurate and complete documentation for handover to the project consultant.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, sub-contractors, and project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in a technical office or project management role.
