Role OverviewThe HSE Manager plays a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment for our employees, contractors, and clients. This position is responsible for leading the HSE program, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards and company regulations.
- Liaise with site management and supervision to conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' knowledge and awareness of HSE best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay informed about changing HSE requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to site management and employees on HSE matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as health, safety, environment management, or chemical engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior HSE role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and company regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
