Job Description

The Cybersecurity Risk Specialist will be part of the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function. This role will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks to ensure the organization's assets and data are protected.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity risk management framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Creating and updating cybersecurity risk registers and related documentation to ensure accurate and timely risk assessments.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity risk, presenting risks and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies to ensure the organization's cybersecurity posture is continuously improved.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity risks, threats, trends, and best practices, and applying this knowledge to the organization's risk management framework.
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

The Cybersecurity Risk Specialist will be/have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk analysis/management, preferably in the Petrochemicals sector.
  • Professional certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGRC, etc.
  • A track record of developing and implementing cybersecurity risk management frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Based in/willing to relocate to a location that supports the organization's operations.

What's on Offer

The monthly salary for the Cybersecurity Risk Specialist role will be around SAR 30,000.
