Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Customer Fulfillment team at Amazon MENA. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you manage, while also being hands-on whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain Health and Safety standards within your area, while promoting a culture of excellence on-site.
  2. Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on specific, larger-scale processes and activities within a Fulfillment Center.
  3. Collect and update operations metrics on an hourly basis, ensuring timely and accurate data.
  4. Achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  5. Collaborate with support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, IT) on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.
  6. Implement process change and contribute to cross-functional initiatives within your site and the broader Amazon Operations network.
  7. Work within a shift pattern in an operational environment.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  4. 5+ years of experience.
  5. Solid understanding/background in Fulfillment Center operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
  2. 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
