This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Architecture Advisor As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between their business strategies and relevant solutions. Your expertise will be essential in crafting business and solution architectures, designing transformation roadmaps, and facilitating the adoption of cloud-based solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SAP's Sales organization and partner ecosystem to define account strategies.
  • Craft business and solution architectures to bridge the gap between customer business strategies and relevant solutions.
  • Design transformation roadmaps at the enterprise level to facilitate customer adoption of cloud-based architectures.
  • Support assessment of current customer solutions from SAP and potential areas of opportunity for faster solution adoption and consumption.
  • Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team.
  • Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with SAP organizations, customers, and partners.
  • Provide linkage from customers to SAP product development leadership.
  • Support building customer demand through appropriate thought leadership positioning.
  • Understand customer business process maps and business models with industry reference architecture focus.
  • Understand customer current enterprise landscapes and future needs.
  • Drive positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug & play) leveraging standard cloud solutions.
  • Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design.
  • Ensure IT feasibility of business capabilities mapping to SAP solution architecture.
  • Support customer cloud transformation roadmap definition (business and application focus).
  • Drive customer cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap definition (standard cloud application and technology focus).
  • Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption.
  • Support living roadmap governance & adaptation based on evolution of customer needs and SAP solutions.
  • Drive solution expansion by highlighting value & linkages to broader SAP portfolio.

Requirements

  1. Considerable experience with software/IT organizations as IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting, or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years.
  2. Represent SAP as trusted advisor within SAP and/or market.
  3. Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models, and cloud-based commerce/business networks.
  4. Proven professional networks in the market to drive pipeline and revenue growth for SAP.
  5. Proven track record of success in selected industry area, if required.
  6. Proven leadership and project management experience.
  7. Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
  8. Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
  9. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred from accredited university.
  10. Togaf or SAPIEA-10 certifications and Experience in using EAM tools is an added value for candidates.
