About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team at KBR, Inc. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design and delivery of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise during the execution of feasibility and conceptual studies.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality project documents and adhere to the required schedule.
  • Interface with client technical staff to develop and present outcomes, and discuss technical issues. Travel to client sites or offices may be required.
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise junior engineers.
  • Lead or be part of project and study teams, according to the work scope.
  • Support business development through technical input into proposals.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, or a similar field.
  • 10 or more years of process engineering experience gained in one or more of the following industry sectors:
    • Upstream Oil and Gas
    • Oil Refining
    • Petrochemicals
    • Renewables
    • Energy Transition
  • Experience may be in consultancy, design office, or operating company environments. Significant experience in a front-end process design environment is preferred.
  • Saudi nationals/Iqama holders are preferred. Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) would be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Membership of a professional institution (IChemE, AIChE, or similar) and Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
