Creative Translator

The role of the Creative Translator involves adapting and rewriting creative content to resonate with diverse audiences while preserving the original message's intent and tone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and rewrite creative content to resonate with the target audience.
  • Ensure cultural relevance and appropriateness in all adaptations by understanding the cultural context of both the source and target languages.
  • Write with a deep understanding of audience preferences and behavior.

Post-Editing:

  • Review and refine translated content to enhance clarity, coherence, and accuracy, ensuring it meets the brand's tone and style guidelines.
  • Correct grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors in translated materials.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to align messaging.
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers and contribute to team discussions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all post-edited and transcreated materials.
  • Maintain consistency across translated and adapted content.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAT tools (such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar).
  • Strong editing skills.
