Program Director, Nursing

As a Program Director, Nursing at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, you will be accountable for providing professional leadership in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategies that ensure collaborative working practices at program level.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Direction: Provide advanced leadership direction to employees within assigned area of responsibility, ensuring effective management and coordination of resources.
- Performance Monitoring and Development: Monitor the performance and development of employees within assigned area of responsibility, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including physicians and other discipline counterparts, to achieve clinical, financial, and quality objectives within assigned areas, ensuring timely and effective delivery of medical care.
- Saudization and Nationality Mix: Establish and achieve targets for Saudization and nationality mix in areas of responsibility, aligning with the strategic plan of Nursing Affairs (NA).
- Quality Improvement: Lead and coordinate collaborative multi-disciplinary partnerships working towards the achievement of constant improvement in quality patient care, promoting quality across program areas.
- Quality Monitoring and Action: Monitor quality and take effective action to address quality issues with main stakeholders, following up as necessary.
- Strategic Planning: Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of NA's annual strategic plan, working in partnership with Head Nurses to define and clarify the strategic direction.
- Resource Utilization: Direct program area in the achievement of strategic goals, evaluating utilization of resources and redirecting as required.
- Clinical Information Systems: Direct and coordinate the achievement of the implementation of clinical information systems at program level.
- Nursing Research: Support and contribute to Nursing Research, providing recommendations.
Education: PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or other related discipline is required, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is also required.
Experience: Five (5) years of nursing experience, including three (3) years at a managerial/supervisory position, with PhD, eight (8) years with Master's Degree, or ten (10) years with Bachelor's Degree, is required.
Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties licensure is required.
