Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide day-to-day technical guidance to assigned film/video crew, including contract personnel.
  2. Participate in assignment briefings to discuss overall planning, scheduling, and sensitivities of the assigned production.
  3. Train assigned crew on production details, sequences, technical/aesthetic aspects, lighting, graphics, or equipment required to develop the best possible production.
  4. Forecast and request logistical support/materials for production work to ensure timely and effective project completion. Monitor to ensure technicians have proper equipment and materials on hand to avoid downtime.
  5. Write and/or interpret scripts; plan, direct, and integrate all audio and video elements of the assigned film/video/audio program.
  6. Perform activities of subordinate staff to demonstrate technique, instruct new personnel, or provide technical assistance during scheduled production.
  7. Determine filming and lighting requirements and supervise entire camera operations. Provide advice on all aspects related to camera operations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Media Production.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in TV/film production with an accredited professional production organization.
  3. A good theoretical background and practical knowledge of systems, performance capabilities, equipment operating capability. Good understanding of Middle Eastern customs, values, and traditions. Knowledge of pertinent Saudi Arabian Government laws and regulations affecting production activities. Language skills.
