Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with various paediatric metabolic disorders. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage paediatric metabolic diseases, including genetic disorders and inborn errors of metabolism
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health staff, to provide seamless care
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in paediatric metabolic medicine, including new treatments and technologies
Requirements
- Successful completion of a structured genetics and metabolic fellowship training program
- 3 years' experience as a consultant in a Western hospital or equivalent
- Post-specialist qualification experience from recognized countries, including UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and France
