Job Summary:

Makkah Hypermarket is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and providing strategic financial advice to drive the company's growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction and profit improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including VAT and other local taxes.
  • Team Management: Supervise the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with auditors for annual financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
  • Financial Strategy: Advise senior management on financial strategies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives with overall business goals.
  • Financial Modeling: Prepare financial models and business cases for new investments and expansion projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in the hypermarket or retail industry is required.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; experience with retail-specific software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and team management abilities, and ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
