Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement passive network infrastructure for high-performance, scalable systems.
  • Develop and refine network designs to ensure compatibility with active networking components.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and propose appropriate passive network solutions.
  • Manage and maintain structured cabling systems for LAN and data center networks.
  • Troubleshoot passive network systems to ensure network performance and minimize downtime.
  • Create clear, concise network diagrams, schematics, and documentation for passive infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with active network engineers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of passive components with active infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing passive network infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of passive network components such as cabling types (fiber, copper), patch panels, and racks.
  • Familiarity with active networking components and their integration with passive systems.
  • Proficient in network design and architecture principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
