About the Position:

This position is available for a highly skilled Engineering Manager for Process Safety to join Advanced Smelting Industries Co. (ASIC) in Jizan, reporting directly to the Superintendent of Safety.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with planning responses to industry-specific emergencies and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining site PSM policies and guidelines consistent with company procedures.

  • Develop and monitor clear accountability for performance against specific site process safety goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and audit operating unit PSM programs through review of PHAs, serious incident reports, and other site PSM systems.
  • Carry out safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant safety policies and regulations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of plant loss control programs such as incident prevention and process hazard analysis.

Key Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of process safety management, engineering, and chemical processes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of process design and equipment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of technical safety and management of change.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to communicate effectively.
