Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage the electrical aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the successful execution of projects by ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with project managers, department managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  2. Supervise and manage electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  3. Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  4. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to procure electrical materials and equipment.
  5. Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical installations.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that may arise during construction.
  7. Monitor and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment.
  8. Keep detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, inspections, and change orders.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry.
  3. Residential type projects experience is essential.
  4. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  5. Strong project management and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
  8. Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
