Localization Academy seeks a highly experienced content marketing director to spearhead our content strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and disseminate captivating content across various platforms, working closely with our SEO team and collaborating on projects such as video production, podcasting, and branding campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Calendar Oversight: Supervise the content calendar to guarantee timely publishing and distribution across all channels. This involves scheduling, coordinating with writers and designers, and adhering to deadlines.
  • Content Format Management: Manage the creation and dissemination of content in diverse formats, including blog posts, articles, ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, videos, social media updates, and email newsletters. Ensure uniformity in branding and messaging across all formats.
  • Arabic Translation Management: Oversee the translation process for all content into Arabic. This entails identifying qualified translators, ensuring translation quality control, and maintaining a consistent Arabic brand voice and style. Develop and maintain a glossary of key terms and style guidelines for Arabic content.
  • Content Adaptation & Localization: Adapt and localize content for the Arabic-speaking market, taking into account cultural nuances, language preferences, and regional trends. This may involve rewriting or adapting content to resonate with the target audience in the MENA region.
  • Channel Management: Manage content distribution across various channels, including our website, blog, social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and other relevant channels. Optimize content for each specific channel.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, social media reach, and conversion rates. Generate regular reports on content performance and provide insights to the Head of Content and Content Strategist.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with the Head of Content, Content Strategist, writers, designers, translators, and other team members to ensure smooth content creation and distribution workflows. Maintain clear communication channels and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Content Library Management: Organize and maintain a content library, ensuring easy access to all content assets, including original files, translations, and related materials. Implement a system for version control and content archiving.

Requirements:

  • Arabic Content Creation: 3-5 years of experience in content creation for digital and software companies in Arabic, while possessing a solid grasp of the English language to ensure both English and Arabic content maintain high quality. Experience in the HR Tech space is a definite plus.
  • Strategic Content Planning: Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven content strategies, aligning them with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Exceptional Writing & Editing Skills: Excellent command of the Arabic language with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to create captivating and engaging content across various formats.
  • Digital Savviness: Experience in launching and managing website content, with a basic understanding of SEO content to gain organic traffic at scale.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to track, measure, and report on content performance. Ability to draw insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Design).
  • Leadership & Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead and mentor a team of content creators.
