Private Equity Risk Management Specialist

PER, Private Equity Recruitment, is seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Risk Management Specialist to join our client's rapidly growing investment risk team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will support the investment teams with all investment deal risk analysis and advisory activities. This role involves working closely with global investment teams and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments for new deals, considering their standalone risk as well as their contribution to the overall portfolio risk.
- Perform regular portfolio monitoring in line with established investment procedures.
- Carry out deep-dive risk analysis on sensitive investments and during crisis situations that require additional scrutiny.
- Collaborate with investment teams to balance risk oversight and advisory services.
- Review due diligence reports, financial model assumptions, and investment memos for various transactions.
We are looking for an individual with:
- Experience in investment risk management, private equity, or related fields.
- A degree from a top-tier university.
- Pursuing a Master's degree or holding a CFA certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review complex financial data and models.
- Proficiency in systems such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Power BI/Tableau, Prequin, and Pitchbook.
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and work full-time.
Riyadh, being one of the key hubs for private equity in the Middle East, offers a competitive salary range for this position. Based on industry standards, we estimate the salary range to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
