Job Description:
The Senior Initiatives Specialist will provide technical support in the application and deployment of scientific solutions for various developmental programs related to the STI initiatives in the Member Countries. The role involves keeping track of developments through research and networking, and reporting regularly to Management. The incumbent will also facilitate communication with international partners and ensure quality response to issues addressed.

Main Activities:
  1. Coordinates STI initiatives between IsDB and Member Countries to create innovative solutions for development.
  2. Assists in conducting sectoral analysis to identify developmental opportunities for IsDB Member Countries.
  3. Manages the complete cycle of initiative portfolios from concept development to implementation and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, International Development or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the development field with special emphasis on application of scientific solutions.
