Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Director to lead our planning team and oversee the development of working programmes in line with our business execution strategy.

Key Responsibilities

**Develop and Oversee Working Programmes**: Develop and oversee the development of working programmes in line with the business execution strategy and in coordination with the development and delivery teams.


**Reporting and Performance Monitoring**: Support the Senior Projects Controls Director by establishing and maintaining a reporting system (KPI's) to monitor the performance against achieving the objectives.


**Schedule Analysis and Forecasts**: Provide/review the schedule analysis, forecasts, and what-if scenarios required to support the strategic planning.


**Team Leadership**: Direct the activities of the planning team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently in line with the strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures.


**Team Development**: Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent planning team by setting clear targets, objectives, and KPIs against an agreed road map, and provide the required mentoring and coaching to meet the Masterplan challenges and goals.


**Leadership and Role Modelling**: Lead by example and act as a role model across the Organization to spread awareness and commitment to the vision, mission, values, and fundamentals.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be strong in Planning with a focus on large and complex projects. Strong leadership and management skills are required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Master's degree in Project Management is preferred
  • A minimum of 20 years of overall experience in the Construction/Real Estate Development industry with 10 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Experience in Project Delivery from Inception to Completion
  • Experience in large, mixed-use construction projects and mega infrastructure projects in the region with strong knowledge of the industry planning practices (preferable)
