Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of investment analysts in conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Investment Assessment Methodologies: Develop and implement investment assessment methodologies and frameworks to ensure comprehensive analysis, aligning with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management to ensure that investment assessments are aligned with the organization's strategic goals, and prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to inform investment strategies, and evaluate the performance of existing investments and recommend adjustments based on analysis.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during the assessment process, and establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, brokers, and consultants.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide insights on investment opportunities and risk factors, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by promoting professional development and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant solid investment background in contracting with high knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements, and 1+ years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Skills: Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic principles, excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
