We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of all elevators on campus, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of elevators to identify and address any potential issues or defects.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including the replacement of spare parts and the installation of new machinery and mechanical components.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and take corrective action to prevent downtime.
  4. Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the continued safe operation of elevators.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all elevators are properly maintained and meet the needs of the university community.

Requirements:

  1. BS/MS degree in a recognized field of specialization, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
  2. At least five years of experience in the operation and maintenance of elevators or similar mechanical systems.
