About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Specialist, you will lead the mechanical design review, follow the construction, and oversee the commissioning and testing activities for new shale gas facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of plant operations, process technologies, supply and product logistics, business drivers, cost drivers, and feedstock sensitivities. Additionally, they will possess a detailed understanding of product properties, customer applications, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance team to troubleshoot and fix Static Equipment and mechanical systems.
  2. Engineering Design: Develop the engineering design packages for new installation and upgrade projects.
  3. Project Review: Review Project Proposals and Detailed Design packages for new facilities.
  4. Testing and Commissioning: Participate in the testing & commissioning of new facilities and Turnaround and Inspection (T&I).
  5. Documentation: Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
  6. Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and find solutions for energy saving.
  7. Quality and Cost-Effectiveness: Ensure quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions to any upgrade.
  8. Technology Testing: Test and pilot new technologies.
  9. HSE Compliance: Ensure full HSE Compliance.
  10. Performance Reporting: Report and analyze key performance indices.
  11. Technical Optimization: Make recommendations for technical/economic optimization of existing facilities.
  12. Feasibility Studies: Lead feasibility/profitability studies for new facilities.
  13. Business Unit Strategy: Contribute to Business Unit strategy.
  14. Staff Development: Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of younger staff.
  15. Project Support: Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation in support of projects, processes, and financing related to Saudi Aramco capital investment decisions.
  16. Industry Networking: Maintain and expand on contacts within the industry.
  17. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Regularly interact with other professionals in various company organizations involved in capital planning and economic analysis.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university; MS is preferred.
  2. Professional Certification: A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license or registration will be desirable but is not essential.
  3. Experience: At least 15 years of experience in the industrial operation facility; Shale gas facility preferred.
  4. Knowledge of Modular Skids: Good knowledge of Modular skids mounted unit.
  5. Industry Codes and Standards: Working knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME and API, including ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API-STD-661, and TEMA STD.
  6. Pressure Vessel Design: Experience in the design, specification, selection, and services related to pressure vessels including packed columns, towers, separators, and heat transfer technology in the onshore or offshore oil and gas project environment.
  7. Equipment Knowledge: Specialist and detailed knowledge of major equipment types, including process packed columns, reactors, fired heaters, boilers, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.
  8. Design Software: Good working knowledge of equipment design codes and common design programs, including PVElite, CEASER, and HTRI.
  9. Field Installation: Experience with static equipment and piping field installation, commissioning, and testing.
  10. Damage Mechanisms: Good working knowledge of static damage mechanisms and fitness for service inspection standards.
  11. Schematics and Diagrams: Experience in creating schematics and piping diagrams.
  12. PFDs and Isometric Drawings: Experience with creating/modifying PFDs, P&IDs, and Isometric drawings.
  13. Piping and Equipment Layout: Experience in specifying piping and equipment layout.
  14. Communication Skills: Capable of communicating with multidisciplinary engineers to complete projects.
  15. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels within the organization.
  16. Conflict Resolution: Capable of spotting and reconciling conflicting views and interests among different parts of the organization.
  17. Technical Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.
  18. Complex Concepts: Able to communicate complex technical, economic, and commercial concepts clearly to individuals and groups from diverse professional backgrounds.
  19. Practical Experience: Hands-on person who will command the professional respect of others with long-time practical experience in the industry.
  20. Advice and Counsel: A person whom others, at all levels, will seek out for advice and counsel.
  21. Autonomy: Able to work effectively with minimal supervision on relatively unstructured tasks.
