Job Title: Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Cost Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our commission leads in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Commission Manager in various types and sizes of projects, from pre-contract estimating to post-contract on-site services.
  • Provide excellent service delivery to clients, build trust, and enhance our reputation.
  • Ensure client objectives are met through effective cost management services from pre-contract to construction completion.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of and experience in Civil, Architectural, Structural, or ID background, preferably MRICS or working towards sitting APC.
  • Solid experience in pre-contract services, including feasibility, tendering, measurement, and pricing of building and MEP works for estimating and Bills of Quantities.
  • Experience in post-contract services, interim applications, change management processes, and variation valuation.
  • Knowledge of standard form contracts, FIDIC preferred, and contract procedures.
  • Professional approach and confident in performing your role.
  • Ability to work with contractors' personnel with confidence and assurance.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team and perform well under pressure.
  • Procurement experience and client-facing experience are advantageous.
  • Experience in high-level benchmarks for various asset typologies, building elements, and extensive knowledge of the latest market rates.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully working within a measurement and/or post-contract teams.
  • Provide clear, correctly formatted, and articulated writing for bills of quantities, cost estimate reports, cost reports, procurement reports, and tender reports.
Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Professional membership is an advantage, i.e., MRICS.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar roles.
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry and technical matters.
  • Knowledge of CostX.
