We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the planning, design, layout, and maintenance of our warehousing facilities and storage areas to ensure optimal utilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Management: Develop and recommend measures to improve the quality of service and increase efficiency of performance in the warehouse.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ensure efficient and effective planning out of all warehouse resources and activities to facilitate business requirements.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure that inbound stock is delivered as per the order requirements and products are received, unloaded, and assembled as per the guidelines.
  • Stock Management: Conduct periodic stock counts (cycle and year end) to ensure accuracy between book and physical count.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Documentation: Ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound documentation (stock transfers, purchase returns, goods invoices, etc.).
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic reports to senior management related to warehouse activities.
People Management
  • Team Leadership: Define goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective implementation of the performance management process.
  • Talent Development: Develop talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to achieve defined goals.
  • Culture Development: Drive a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit/Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs, and coaching employees on areas of improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 4-5 years in warehousing and supply chain, preferably in the retail industry.
