Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join our client's team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting activities, supervising accounting staff, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Operations Management: Oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, and recording of revenue and expenses.
  2. Team Supervision: Supervise, direct, and review the work of the accounting staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  3. Cash Management: Manage cash flow activities, including controlling income and expenditure, monitoring and interpreting cash flows, and forecasting future trends.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports, as well as develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  5. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to the accounting processes and procedures, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
  6. External Relationships: Develop and maintain external relationships with auditors, lawyers, bankers, and other relevant contacts.
  7. Internal Collaboration: Liaise with senior management and other colleagues to ensure that financial information is accurately communicated and used to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Open to Arabic nationals currently based in Jeddah.
  2. Construction company experience preferred.
  3. Excellent Accounting skills and experience using Accounts programs.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Good team player.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position will be competitive and will reflect experience levels and interview performance. As a guideline, around 15-20k SAR per month total package.
