About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to our customers, ensuring their diagnostic equipment is functioning correctly.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience working on histopathology equipment. You will be responsible for performing installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades at customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting customers to perform site visits and resolve technical issues.
  • Installing and maintaining histopathology equipment, including instruments and ancillary equipment.
  • Providing accurate and timely reporting of service activities, expenses, and stock management.
  • Collaborating with the Field Support Team to ensure excellent after-sales service.
  • Working closely with sales teams to provide basic training, demonstrations, and systems builds.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in field service or a related field, preferably with histopathology equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
