Job Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in interface engineering or a related field.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent public relation communication skills.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer applications and software.
  5. Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of government departments' competencies and regulations.
  6. Language Skills: Good command of English language.

Job Description:

  1. Interface Identification: Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to identify all interfaces and develop a comprehensive interface register.
  2. Interface Control Document (ICD) Management: Lead the creation and updating of ICDs associated with each interface, and maintain an index of all ICD versions for reporting purposes.
  3. Interface Progress Assessment: Conduct regular interface progress assessments to identify delays and initiate remedial actions as necessary.
  4. Interface Review Meetings: Organize and lead interface review meetings with stakeholders and contractors to discuss interface issues and progress.
  5. Conflict Resolution: Facilitate reaching agreements and optimal solutions for interface-related conflicts.
  6. Interface Resolution: Control and monitor the resolution of each interface, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Project Manager on critical areas and potential conflicts.
  8. Stakeholder Management: Consult regularly with design and construction departments to inform them about the actual status of interfaces.
  9. Client Interface Management: Control and monitor the client (SWCC) interface, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
  10. Change and Configuration Management: Ensure that interfaces are under change and configuration management, including state, version, and authorization status.
  11. Interface Management Process: Ensure updated information regarding interface management process and specifically agree with interfacing entities system requirements apportioning into sub-requirements and their allocation.
  12. External Interface Coordination: Coordinate and integrate external technical interfaces with external stakeholders who are engaged in the development and delivery of designs.
