About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the technical and administrative aspects of facility operations at Hamat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in facilities management.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and efficient management of MEP systems across multiple properties. This includes supervising maintenance and operation tasks, monitoring system compliance and efficiency, conducting inspections and troubleshooting, and managing service providers and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, AutoCAD, and CAFM systems. A NEBOSH or IOSH Certification is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Monitor HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, elevators, and electrical systems for compliance and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage service providers and subcontractors to uphold high-quality standards in maintenance services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in mall facility management as a Mechanical or Facility Engineer.
  • Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and MEP systems.
  • Strong contract and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to handle emergency maintenance situations effectively.
