About the Role

">

The Administrative Operations Manager - Kitchen will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. This includes managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the kitchen, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and policy enforcement;
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef, Chef de Parties, Kitchen Staff, and Chef Steward to ensure seamless operations, efficient production rates, and effective wastage management;
  • Conduct regular reporting cycles between the branch and management to ensure alignment and goals achievement;
  • Assist in onboarding new kitchen staff, providing guidance on kitchen protocols, health and safety, and handling employee documentation;
  • Work closely with the Storekeeper to manage inventory, stock turnover, product quality, and prices;
  • Ensure accurate data integration into the ERP system for inventory management, record-keeping, and purchasing requisitions;
  • Verify the quantity and quality of received items, ensuring they meet agreed-upon specifications;
  • Maintain professional communication skills, adhering to company standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in kitchen operations or food service management;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with proficiency in using ERP and Oracle systems for inventory management and record-keeping;
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and compliance with industry standards;
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
