Job Description

Job Summary:

The Security Governance Manager shall be responsible for ensuring security awareness, security compliance, and risk assessment functions within the Saudi Networkers Services (SNS Group) organization. The Security Governance Manager supervises Security Awareness and Security Risk Assessment and Compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Security Policies: Develop and implement security policies, standards, and other requirement statements needed to support information security throughout the organization.
  2. Security Risk Framework: Develop and maintain the organization's security risk framework.
  3. Security Risk Assessments: Conduct security risk assessments on an ongoing basis to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  4. High-Risk Categories: Keep track and manage high-risk categories to ensure that they are properly addressed.
  5. Internet and Network Security: Evaluate Internet and network security within the organization to ensure that it is secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  6. Security Compliance Reviews: Conduct Security Compliance Reviews for all organizational environments to identify any security misconfigurations or gaps.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure Security Compliance with regulatory requirements such as SAMA, Tadawul, and PCI-DSS.
  8. Information Security Awareness: Ensure that ongoing Information Security awareness education and training is provided to all organizational employees and customers.
  9. Network Security: Ensure Network security, database security, and Operating systems security.
  10. Special Projects: Initiate and manage special projects related to information security that may be needed to appropriately respond to ad-hoc or unexpected information security events.
  11. Change Management Committee: Participate in the Change Management Committee to ensure that changes to the organization's systems and processes are properly assessed and implemented.
  12. Security Penetration Testing: Coordinate the security penetration testing process within the organization.

Reporting and Relationships:

Reports to: Information Security Department Manager

Internal and External Relationships:

Internal Relationships: Relationships with all organizational groups involved with information security matters such as Information Technology Group, Legal Department, Internal Audit Department, Risk Management, Business and support Groups.

External Relationships: Relationships with external information security regulatory organizations such as SAMA.

Minimum Requirements:

  9. Management Skills: Self-starter with management skills.

Education and Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and experience:

  1. Bachelor Degree: Bachelor Degree, BS in Computer Science or Engineering or any other relevant field.
  2. Information Security Experience: At least 5 years information security experience and 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  3. Certification: Certification in Information Security field is highly recommended.
  4. Structured Security Analysis: On-hand experience in Structured Security Analysis, developing security awareness programs; Information Security Standards; and Security Risk Assessment.
  5. Language Skills: Good level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
