Job Details

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the QHSE activities are in continuous compliance with customers, regulatory, and Hempel Group requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure the QHSE activities are in continuous compliance with customers, regulatory, and Hempel Group requirements.Coordinate all QHSE activities of Hempel Saudi Arabia.Facilitate and support Jeddah factory and warehouses within Saudi Arabia on QHSE matters.Assist RQM in aligning QHSE activities and implementation of strategic QHSE projects.Plan, carry-out, and follow-up on internal audits of Hempel Saudi Arabia, as directed by RQM.Collect and monitor data from all functions within Hempel Saudi Arabia for the agreed set of QHSE KPIs and report, as directed by the FM/RQM.Lead in investigating accidents and incidents including 5box and report to FM/RQM.Lead and execute implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions for all matters about NCRs, accidents/incidents/spillages, etc.Lead Safety Excellence, 6S, CI & Waste management, and other related areas of Hempel's Sustainability agenda.Coordinate and lead fire drill activities of Hempel factories, warehouses, and other offices within KSA.Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures at all times.Coordinate with MODON/GAMEP and other authorities in KSA related to health safety as required and directed by the Hempel Management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Diploma in Engineering and 2-4 years' experience in QHSE related tasks in any manufacturing industry. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess knowledge and certification in ISO9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Management systems auditing. Good MS Office skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ERP systems are also essential. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
