Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Sales Consultant to join our team at Air Arabia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and executing day-to-day sales and customer services to achieve set targets and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize retail sales and market share.
  • Process all bookings and visas for walk-in/calling customers, ensuring timely and efficient travel arrangements.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and systems introduced by the company, maintaining a solid understanding of our services and products.
  • Contribute to maximizing sales and profitability by educating and upselling customers on our services and products.
  • Monitor and process visa applications and cancellations, taking necessary approvals and actions as required.
  • Maintain the company's properties and image, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Sales and Customer Experience
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships, handling complaints and problems in a professional and positive manner.
  • Implement cross-selling techniques to promote all services and achieve individual targets.
  • Utilize sales skills and product knowledge to recommend personalized travel solutions and upsell additional services.
  • Provide high-quality services to customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Operational Excellence
  • Follow established processes and procedures to streamline workflow and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate travel arrangements and resolve operational issues.
  • Perform duties as instructed by management, adapting to business requirements.
Requirements
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Understanding of sales and negotiation skills, with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Fluency in English and Arabic Language (Written and Verbal).
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, or management.
    • Specialization in Travel and Tourism is an advantage.
    • IATA certification.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of work experience in the Travel Industry.
    • Previous experience working as a Retail Travel Consultant or in a similar role with a travel company/agency.
    • Proficiency in travel booking systems (Galileo/Sabre/Amadeus) is preferred.
