Job Overview:

In this role, you will play a critical part in defining facility/system functions, behaviors, and other design requirements. You will work closely with our team to perform system-level design verification, test requirements specifications, and requirements flow down and traceability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compile, adjust, and correlate data to develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard systems engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Participate in defining facility/system functions, behaviors, and other design requirements, prepare the criteria documents, and coordinate technical discussions to resolve system design issues.
  • Perform system-level design verification, requirements verification, test requirements specifications, and requirements flow down and traceability.
  • Provide technical assistance to other systems personnel and interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in resolving complex regulatory issues.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard systems engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
  • Develop system models using model-based systems engineering methods and tools (e.g., IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler by CATIA or Innoslate by SpecInnovations).

Education and Experience Requirements:

A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience are required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Skill in assessing the scope of problems and developing practical solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate and work with other engineering disciplines, the client, designers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in balancing competing deadlines, priorities, and resource availability.
  • Able to identify and articulate opportunities for procedural improvement, provide solutions, and carry out implementation.
  • Must have strong organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as architecture/engineering work processes.
  • Proven ability to work within a diverse multicultural environment.
