Job Overview

Oil and Gas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting operations with a focus on processing, coordinating assets, and managing purchasing activities for the region. As Project Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional services while upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and optimize underutilized assets in the region.
  2. Monitor expendable supply stocks in each location in the region.
  3. Coordinate the movement of excess stocks of expendables from location to location to minimize waste.
  4. Establish central expendable stock points that serve outlying locations using a hub & spoke distribution plan.
  5. Place replenishment orders for the central stock point with no purchases made at the outlying locations.
  6. Collaborate with the purchasing and materials management group to maximize the company's purchasing volume.
  7. Provide support as required and directed to operations/administrative departments such as inventory/asset tracking, marketing, accounting, corporate development, regional, field operation.
  8. Support domestic operations in arranging for the movement of rental, fishing, and other service equipment to gain optimum utilization and revenue.
  9. Serve as the region focal point for conducting searches in the region for equipment which can be used to avoid purchasing, sub-renting or transferring equipment to meet job requirements.
  10. Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Oil and Gas.
  11. Carry out work assignments to the highest quality level.
  12. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Required Skills:
  1. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Adept at utilizing diplomatic skills to navigate complex situations and foster positive relationships.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  4. Proficient in inventory management, asset tracking, and supply chain optimization.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  6. Familiarity with relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor Engineering Degree.
  2. Minimum 12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role in the oil and gas industry.
  4. Preferred to have experience with international business, particularly in the GCC region.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Adept at utilizing diplomatic skills to navigate complex situations and foster positive relationships.
