About the Role
The FM Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing FM policies, standards, and guidelines that align with current industry practices and regulations. This involves conducting thorough analysis of existing FM policies, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements. The engineer must also research and implement best practices in facilities management to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain FM policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits of facilities management operations against established standards.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to local and international FM regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management outlining policy status, compliance metrics, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in facilities management or a related role focusing on policies and standards development.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in writing technical documents and policies with a clear and concise communication style.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in training and educating staff on policies and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting facilities management operations.
