Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Construction State. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Contract Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Site Management: Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects, leading to the position of construction manager on large-scale projects.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience of working internationally, and a record of implementing continuous improvement on site and supporting capacity building/talent development in a construction environment.
