Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Accountant to join our team at Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company. This role is responsible for managing reinsurance processes, collaborating with the Reinsurance Assistant Manager, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage reinsurance processes, including treaty and facultative account monitoring, compliance review, and authorization of policy reinsurance.
  • Collaborate with the Reinsurance Assistant Manager to assess potential losses and calculate premiums, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Review and approve technical policies, add facultative reinsurers to the system, and coordinate with the Accounting Team for premium settlements.
  • Notify facultative reinsurers about new claims, authorize claim registration, and keep reinsurers updated on claim reserves.
  • Develop and implement risk management systems to safeguard company information and control threats.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in insurance or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry is required, along with knowledge of financial and operational processes. Strong communication skills in Arabic and English are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
