Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the execution and administration of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing engineering details, ensuring that the design intent is delivered by the contractor, and addressing any on-site design problems that arise. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the Design Engineer to address modifications desired by the Client and assisting the Project Lead in reviewing and selecting materials and equipment that are in compliance with approved material submittals.

In addition, you will support the project lead in issuing engineering correspondences, highlighting any violations to construction/engineering-related issues on site through the issuance of NCRs, and attending progress review meetings and coordination meetings to assist the Project Lead in resolving any site issues.

You will also participate in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover, provide support to the Project Manager/Team Leader to ensure projects run smoothly, and liaise with the Design Engineer on modifications required.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing daily site reports and highlighting issues that arise on site to the Project Lead.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality projects and has a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.

Requirements

  • A relevant engineering degree from a recognized Institution.
  • Minimum of 15 years overall relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in similar projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years regional experience.
