About the RoleThis role plays a critical part in overseeing the overall operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within our data centers. As a Data Center Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high reliability and performance while minimizing operating costs. You'll work with mission-critical servers to ensure 100% uptime.
Key Responsibilities- You will oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring that all work performed within the space meets high quality standards without impacting internal or external customers.
- Manage teams of engineering technicians who support and operate data center facilities around the clock.
- Engage in improvement projects, collaborating with various support teams to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
- C-coordinate daily activities with multiple third-party vendors to ensure adherence to contracted service level agreements.
- Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
- Act as the after-hours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the region, responding to issues, investigating, mitigating, and recovering them as needed.
