We are seeking a skilled Data Center Facility Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of our data centers, ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with complex systems. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, and Transformers
- Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with 2+ years of experience in data center engineering. They will also be familiar with key electrical competencies and theory, as well as mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls).
