Job Overview

The Facilities Supervisor - Maintenance plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience. This position requires leadership and technical skills to manage outside contractors, design solutions for complex problems, handle multiple projects, and meet timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and coaching to ensure successful project completion.
  2. Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  3. Candidates should possess expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
  4. Promote a safe working environment within the team and across the site.
  5. Support technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience to enhance individual performance.
  6. Maintain positive working relationships across all levels in the organization.
  7. Provide constructive feedback to improve individual performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 2+ years' experience in electrical or mechanical disciplines with multi-skilled abilities.
  2. Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and mechanical components.
  3. Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  4. Understanding of OEE and equipment performance metrics.
  5. Awareness of Statutory Compliance requirements.
  6. Mentoring and developing junior technicians.
  7. Contractor management experience.
  8. Proven ability to troubleshoot under high pressure.
  9. Effective communication skills in English.
