About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial transactions, employment law, and intellectual property law, with experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting agreements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our business teams, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on commercial strategies and compliance with regulations.
  2. Draft and negotiate agreements with various parties, including content production and licensing agreements.
  3. Review, draft, and negotiate contract terms.
  4. Provide proactive advice on general legal and contractual implications on business decisions.
  5. Assist in reviewing and drafting employment-related contracts, documents, and waivers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years PQE.
  • Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university, along with bar admission.
  • Bilingual Arabic/English language skills, both verbally and written, highly desirable.
  • Experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting media and commercial transactions.
  • Familiarity with employment law, intellectual property law, including copyright, trademark, and patent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
