Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Fit-Out Project Coordinator to join our team at Duncan & Ross. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to coordinate the design, planning, and execution of fit-out projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture coordination with a focus on fit-out projects. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of architectural fit-out projects, ensuring that all design and construction elements are aligned with client specifications, regulations, and timelines.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of design intent with practical implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fit-Out Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of architectural fit-out projects, ensuring that all design and construction elements are aligned with client specifications, regulations, and timelines.
  • Design Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between architects, interior designers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of design intent with practical implementation.
  • Documentation and Drawings: Review and prepare design documents, drawings, and specifications related to fit-out works, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project requirements, and client preferences.
  • Site Supervision: Attend site meetings, conduct site visits, and ensure that fit-out works are executed in accordance with the architectural design and quality standards. Monitor and resolve site issues as they arise.
  • Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that fit-out works are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control the budget for fit-out works, including cost estimates, procurement, and value engineering.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of work is in accordance with approved design and specifications, reviewing materials and finishes for compliance with standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and subcontractors to procure necessary materials and finishes, ensuring timely delivery and installation as per the design and project timeline.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all fit-out works comply with relevant building codes, health & safety regulations, and environmental sustainability standards.
  • Client Communication: Provide regular updates and status reports to clients, addressing any concerns or changes in scope, schedule, or budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture coordination with a focus on fit-out projects. Experience in managing the design and execution of office, retail, commercial, or hospitality fit-outs is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design principles, construction methods, materials, and finishes.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues in design coordination, site management, or execution.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Fit-Out Regulations: Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to fit-out works.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability: Understanding of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
