About the Role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues for clients, customers, or the company.
  • Excellent knowledge with configuring and troubleshooting different kinds of network security solutions (e.g., firewalls, mail gateways, endpoint security, sandbox, ADC, WAF solutions, NAC, DNS solutions).
  • Understand customer technical requirements, business objectives, and strategy.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with customers to understand their business processes, gather requirements, and assess their needs.
  • Create both high-level and low-level designs.
  • Provide escalation support for operations issues off the help desk.
  • Utilize scripts to increase productivity and implement automation for repetitive tasks in operations.
  • Ensure all tasks are scheduled and acted upon in the operations schedule.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and requests, ensuring they are managed within defined service levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for monitoring, owning, and addressing user requests, questions, and incidents.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and assign all relevant user and security-related incidents and requests.
  • Translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Work with IP routing protocols, configuring routing with automatic failover solutions between connections.
  • Support and troubleshoot onsite/offsite.
  • Excellent knowledge with SSL VPN and IP-Sec tunneling concepts.
  • Cooperate with team members and provide hands-on experience on various network security devices.
  • Understand MSP business processes (e.g., service level agreements, handoff from engineering to operations, support requests).
  • Project planning to migrate from one technology to another without interruption.
  • Lead team members to start and finalize network security projects while maintaining service continuity.
  • Provide full documentation for network security solutions and topology.
  • Analyze data and logs, correlating them to present a full report with solutions for any network security problems.
  • Handle multiple projects and customers effectively.
