The successful candidate will lead a local team of cybersecurity and compliance experts, engaging with internal stakeholders, regulators, and Saudi customers to achieve secure outcomes.
The role requires experience working with sensitive or classified systems of government, evaluating the design and effectiveness of security controls, and meeting/exceeding Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also crucial, including the ability to effectively deliver information to C-suite/VP level.
Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team to oversee compliance and security matters for AWS in Saudi Arabia, serving as a single point of contact for inquiries and compliance, and conducting hands-on work to coordinate cybersecurity-related engagements with customers.
