HVAC Chiller Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Specialist to join our team at Merge Recruitment Agency. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement daily HVAC maintenance operations as assigned by the team leader/engineer.
2. Monitor and maintain all chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment, including chillers, chilled water systems, cooling towers, and package units, using testing and measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
4. Perform preventive maintenance activities according to defined schedules to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
5. Coordinate the service of contractors and ensure that work is completed as per the contract and units are in good working condition.
6. Complete work orders, task lists, and documents to verify work performed and update records.
7. Work at heights, including ladders, scaffolds, and roofs, to install, maintain, or repair HVAC equipment.
8. Read and execute blueprints, schematic drawings, and other technical documents to complete tasks.
9. Comply with all relevant safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

1. 5-10 years of industrial experience in troubleshooting and repair of HVAC chiller systems, preferably on Trane/Carrier/York equipment.
2. Age 35-40 years (maximum).
3. Three-year diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) or two-year certificate from Industrial Training Institute.
