Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Allergist Consultant to join our team at Doctoruna. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing sub-specialized services for the diagnosis and management of diseases under the scope of care of the related sub-specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing Professional Duties: You will perform the professional duties of a sub-specialist in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and privileges as recommended by the Chief of department and approved by the Credentialing Committee.
  • Outpatient Clinic Services: You will perform duties in the outpatient clinic according to CPP of KFMC OPD.
  • Providing Needed Care: You will provide needed care to patients in the wards.
  • Performing Procedures: You will perform needed procedures according to the privileging.
  • Consultation Services: You will provide consultation services to in and out patient services in area of expertise.
  • On-Call Duties: You will share in on-call duties as per the duty schedule according to the KFMC CPP.
  • Supervising Team Members: You will supervise the work of assistant and/or associate consultants, professional development of junior physicians and interns, and provide evaluation of their work at the request of the Chief of Service.
  • Medical Documentation: You will assure medical documentation and charting is performed in an eligible and professional way and supervise the documentation of the rest of the team.
  • Communication: You will communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: You will work as a member of the team and share administrative responsibilities.
  • Administrative Duties: You will undertake administrative duties whenever needed associated with the care of patients under the direction of the division head.
  • Patient Education: You will provide patient and family education according to patient's status and needs.
Requirements
  • Educational Requirements: You must have a successful completion of Sub-Specialty Fellowship training approved by SCHS and acceptable to KFMC with a minimum of one (1) year of Sub-Specialty training in one of the recognized countries in Saudi Arabia.
  • Certification: You must be certified by the appropriate subspecialty, if one exists in the certifying country.
  • Post-Certification Experience: You must have training and post-certification experience equal to or greater than seven (7) years in a Secondary or Tertiary care facility.
  • Independent Practice: You must have independent practice in the Sub-Specialty.
Experience Requirements

You must have 3 years working experience in sub-specialty area.

Skills

You must have knowledge in International standards of medical care.
