Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Facilities Engineer to oversee and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, develop electrical plans, and ensure the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyse power systems and electrical distribution networks to develop detailed designs that meet client requirements.
  2. Coordinate with other engineers to develop electrical plans and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  3. Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to ensure the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems.
  4. Work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and engineering electrical systems for facilities.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  4. Proficient in electrical design software and tools.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  7. Experience working with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations.
  8. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
