We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team at Alfanar Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing site operational costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze site operational costs to ensure accuracy and efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend solutions to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for site operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions, and monitor budget performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and reporting, conduct periodic physical inventory counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for site operations, provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Receivables Management: Collaborate with operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue invoices.
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience.
- Experience in a company with a turnover of at least SAR 200 million.
- Preferably knowledgeable in SAP and strong in Excel.
- Excellent English communication skills.
