Luxury Hotel Designer

We are seeking an experienced Luxury Hotel Designer to lead the design and development of high-end hotel projects for Qiddiya Investment Company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hotel design, a strong leadership presence, and a keen eye for detail. They will oversee the design process, collaborate with consultants, present design concepts, and assess design submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design Vision and Strategy: Ensure alignment with Qiddiya's vision and operational standards.
  2. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with architects, landscape architects, and other consultants to achieve cohesive and complementary design outcomes.
  3. Presentation and Communication: Prepare and present design concepts, schematics, and detailed proposals to stakeholders and management.
  4. Design Evaluation and Quality Control: Evaluate all design submissions, ensuring adherence to industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Facilitate workshops and meetings with project teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure design objectives are met.
  6. Project Progress Monitoring and Alignment: Monitor design progress and align project timelines with operational requirements and budget constraints.
  7. Trend Analysis and Innovation: Stay updated with trends in hospitality design and implement innovative concepts that enhance the overall guest experience.
  8. Mentorship and Leadership Development: Mentor junior design staff, fostering a creative and collaborative working environment.
  9. Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
  1. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  2. Professional Experience and Portfolio: 6-9 years of professional experience in hotel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  3. Industry Expertise and Brand Knowledge: Experience working with high-end hospitality brands preferred.
  4. Design Knowledge and Processes: Deep understanding of design processes and methods from concept to implementation.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  6. Technical Skills and Software Proficiency: Proficiency in architectural and design software.
  7. Leadership and Project Management: Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive results and manage teams.
  8. Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  10. Sustainability Awareness: Knowledge of sustainability practices in hotel design is a plus.
